“You know it’s not a matter of Civil Rights.” My African friend proudly proclaims. I take a deep sigh, closing my eyes in the process of preparing once again for this debate. Normally I’d never refer to my “African” friend for ethnic reasons but here that moot detail should be exacerbated. I’m not a racist but I find it near the level of dumbfounding that there are Africans whom are against gay rights. “The color of your skin is something you’re born with, completely different than someone’s sexual preference.” “So when did you “choose” to be sexually attracted to women?” My friend hates this wrecking ball to the base of his argument. He astonishingly finds a way to juke around it with the notion, “I was into girls once I saw Sandy Heller in first grade. The blonde hair and green eyes belonging to that angel just swept me away.”
Do I bring up the fact he just provided an example of inter-racial interaction that his ancestors were executed for, OR should I continue on the fact that he didn’t choose women, he saw one and was hooked? The thoughts bounce around in my mind for a second. “You didn’t choose anything! You saw a girl and you liked what you saw! Why can’t some other guy, perhaps black like yourself, see a guy and like what they see!” His eyes narrow into a glare of contempt and dismay. He puffs up in a giant inhale, I can tell the bumpy ride of civil liberties has only just begun.
Parades of Sin:
In the Bible, God provides for us the basic truths that we need to learn and practice in our daily lives. God loved all of his children so much that he has blessed us with the holy book. The bible is an acronym, sadly most Christians couldn’t tell you what it means though. B.I.B.L.E. Basic, Instructions, Before, Leaving, Earth. Pretty simple people. So when God says that one man can not lay with another man, man may not. When God proclaims any act of homosexuality as a sin, it is so! Remember this isn’t just God’s word, this is our guide book laced with the instructions of how to live righteous lives, right by God.
Homosexuality is not only a sin, but a plague on our society. An afront to the almighty himself, knocking on his doorstep to come in. I’m talking about marriage. The Sanctity of Marriage found only in marriages of a man and a woman, have come under attack from the gay and lesbian community. A ground so sacred that letting sinners fornicate in a homosexual fashion, would be damning us all to hell.
A lover’s passion turns into a solid vow of devotion in the house of God. There is no greater promise of eternal commitment than, one founded in your commitment to God. God’s love has brought you two together to this moment. “You can kiss the Bride.” As your eloquent public affection glistens the pews, your vows have been given in front of God. In his name, you’re marriage has become sacred. Why would we wish to allow the homosexual sinners to laugh in the face of God!?
Homosexuals are just people who crave attention. They go out and flaunt themselves so vibrantly we have to now worry about taking our kids to public parks! They’re dressing “that way” completely on purpose. The liberals have only aided in bringing forth the hounds of hell by allowing Gay Rights parades in our cities!! They are trying to turn all of America’s youth homoseuxal and sinners in the name of God.
They become sinners and abandon the sanctity of marriage even more by not being taught abstinence in our schools. The left’s propaganda can not be tolerated. They want to get to our children when they’re young, when they’re impressionable. “Here’s a condom son. I just want you to be safe.” What a lousy excuse for parenting. It should not be permissible for you to encourage the youth to fornicate and that it’s ok to “experiment” with the same gender!
33% of females aged 15 – 17 and 32% of males have already abandoned their morality and purity according to a 2011 CDC survey on Sexual Behavior. Sin only seeps deeper with the ploy of “safe temptation” with age. By ages 20-24, 85% of Males and 82% of Females have committed premarital sex, a sin guaranteed to send you to hell.
We need to find a way to fight the homosexual invasion in the house of God. It’s clear they’ve gotten to our children so now we have two wars we need soldiers for. One in our house and one in God’s.
“You’re going to have a revival of social conservatism like you haven’t seen in 20 years.” a prediction by Al Cardenas, head of the American Conservative Union.
Our president has even abandoned us. His socialist ideals are ruining our nation. Obama has officially sworn allegiance to the homosexual movement. On May 9th, 2012 President Barack Obama came out of the closet. “At a certain point, I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.”
We’ve taken up your challenge though Mr. President. Our brothers at the Southern Baptist Convention on June 20th, passed a monumental resolution that denies gay marriage is a civil right.
“We deny that the effort to legalize ‘same-sex marriage’ qualifies as a civil rights issue since homosexuality does not qualify as a class meriting special protections, like race and gender.”
According to an ABC NewsPoll, 52% of Americans support Gay marriage, while 43% of the sane population of Americans don’t. Why is that? Because the liberals are on the rise. The gay parades that continuously flood our streets resulting in flaunting of homosexual behavior in the public place. This is a serious threat to America and her virtues and morals. We can not allow President Obama to destroy the Sanctity of Marriage. A sacred promise between a man and a woman, in front of God and in his name, is what we must FIGHT to preserve. Not only as individuals but as a Nation.
